Transcript Hey, I’m Zach Fishman and I am the proud program manager here at King Stress USA. Today’s Labor Day. Happy Labor Day. If you’re like me, you probably thought of today is just a day off a bank holiday for those of you in the UK, but today actually pays tribute to the contributions of American Workers Act King’s Trust We believe that all young people deserve the chance to transform their lives through meaningful employment, but we know that the work landscape presents some unique challenges to today’s youth. Youth employment can be transformative, not just for the young people themselves, but for the entire community. Everyone benefits companies, government agencies, everyday people. When we treat youth employment as a broad solution, anything can happen. By offering support to young people early in their career, we can promote promote more innovation in the in the workplace. We can reduce collective and individual costs related to mental health. We can stimulate economic growth within the household and across communities. That’s why here at King Stress USA, we have programs like Get Hired. It’s an event where youth can feel more empowered during the interview process. They can build their interpersonal skills in a collaborative environment with. Employers who are actively seeking to hire them and embolden them to overcome challenges and just be able to have face to face conversations with some remarkable candidates. Who they probably wouldn’t have been able to meet otherwise. Get hired is just one way we can help young people to build their confidence. And their skills to learn and and grow and earn.
