Martin Luther King Jr. believed that the power of youth was transformative. As we honor his legacy today, we’re especially proud of the young people who’ve sought to make a difference in their communities through The King’s Trust Enterprise Challenge program.

As they learn what it takes to run their own business, they develop innovative solutions to modern societal problems, from creating toiletry kits for peers experiencing homelessness to harnessing kinetic energy from speed bumps to power street lights in rural areas so that women feel safer walking at night.

May their creativity and dedication continue to advance King’s ideals of justice and human rights, and may we all be inspired by their example.
