Our mission is to help young people transform their lives by developing the confidence and skills to live, learn, and earn. As such, we work on four inter-connected themes.
Our programs provide alternative approaches to learning, focusing on personal development and transferable employability skills. They are designed to build confidence and self-esteem, and to foster vital soft skills such as communication and teamwork.
Programs range from school-based clubs to online business simulation games and intensive pre‑employment courses.
We work with partners and employers to enable young people to develop skills and access opportunities that will lead to sustainable work.
These include employer-led programs tailored to specific sectors, offering a combination of preparatory learning and on‑the‑job training. We also offer mentoring services, recruitment fairs and support with CV and interview techniques.
Our enterprise programs give young people and military veterans the chance to explore business management and equip budding entrepreneurs with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed.
Business mentors support trainees to test their ideas and are on hand throughout the initial launch stages and beyond.
Many programs focus on preparing young people to enter and flourish in green trades, in sectors ranging from energy to forestry.
In some countries, we also deliver projects that focus explicitly on improving both urban and natural environments, raising awareness of sustainable land practices and championing traditional design and construction skills.

The ‘Get Into’ program has been delivered in India by the Magic Bus India Foundation in collaboration with King’s Trust International since 2018. The program is an 8-week employer-led initiative aiming to give young people (ages 18-25) the opportunity to develop the required skills and experience they need to enable them to move into a sustainable job in a specific sector of work.
Explore is a 90-minute question and answer session on a variety of topics and careers that contribute to a sustainable future. The Explore program allows young people to learn more about a field, determine if it might right for them, and find out how to get involved. Program topics have included the blue economy, zero waste, sustainable fashion, GIS, energy efficiency, and forest conservation.
