About us

King's Trust USA

Our mission is two-fold: to support young people in the United States to meet their full potential and to provide fundraising support for all The King’s Trust Charities.

In the US we focus on two areas of need: Employability and Enterprise, targeting young people aged 11-30 from  underserved communities, and those underachieving in school.

Empowering Potential

Our Employment programs support young people at all stages of their journey towards employment, including those who need extra help before they are ready to secure a job and those who are actively seeking work.

Our Enterprise programs give young people the chance to explore starting their own business and equip budding entrepreneurs with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed.

History in the Making

Going on 50 years, The Trust was established by HM King Charles III, then His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales, against a backdrop of widespread unemployment. Today, its work has transformed the lives of over 1.5 million young people in the US and around the globe.

Fifty years ago, The King's Trust, formerly The Prince’s Trust, was founded on the vision that every young person should have the chance to succeed – a vision that remains unchanged today.
